Default Really small guitar tuned to "A"

The mockup on the right is what I'm going to build for Bill. New shape. It has an 18.5 inch, there abouts, string length and the bass string is tuned to "A". Its like a 24.75 scale with a capo on the 5th fret and tension similar to that setup.
I'm looking for a cool name. Any suggestions?

Papoose?

Guess not.

Maybe Kinnaird (i.e., mini-Kinnaird)?

SO grateful that you are doing such wonderful work, and that I can play grateful host to one of formerly smallest (000) guitars...

Keep us posted on the progress...it feels like such an exciting project.

How about "pickle oh!" ??? Nah, never mind.

Is it going to be a standard steel-string flattop guitar? The mock-up looks like a solid body electric. I had a cheap little Cordoba nylon string tuned that way, but I didn't like the flat, wide classical-style fingerboard. It sounded sweet though.

Foothill (smaller version of the real thing)

Abel (since it's tuned down to A)

Shadow (following in the footsteps of the larger models)

We really need Cigarfan to weigh in on this one!

Is there some irony here when one of your other threads is entitled:

"A huge Koa guitar for steve marshall with the full pablo treatment"

I suppose "A Guitar" is too obvious

Good to hear from you Mark. Papoose ain’t bad. And yes, it seems like my builds are shrinking for the most part since your 000

Maybe sweet pickle?
It will be an acoustic with a 3.5 inch neck block and 4 inch heel block. Bill wants it to fill in the part of mandolin in a jam

It’s going to be tuned up to an A and Shadow sounds pretty good

I know. It crossed my mind as well. I seem to be building at the extremes.

Obvious is not bad. It could be made from the wood of A Tree. (As opposed to The tree of course)
