Default Best Book for Learning Repairs

I am sure this has been asked before but, a search of the forum didn't provided me an answer.

I would like to learn about repairing acoustic and acoustic electric guitars.

Can any of you recommend a good book?

Thanks!

A luthier by the name of Don Teeter wrote a couple of books on guitar repair that are the best I have seen but there may be others that are just as good.

While it's been 35 years since I saw Don Teeter's book, as I recall he had some quirky methods; especially a method for epoxying in frets that was quickly abandoned by the few people I know who ever tried it. I'm sure there's good stuff in there, too.

There is a book that Irving Sloan did in conjunction with the Martin Co. in the late 70's that I thought was very good on acoustic repairs.

Frets.com is a great source. I would guess that Dan Erlewine's books (StewMac) are good, although I've never seen them.

Thanks guys for your input.

I looked up the suggested books and I like Dan Erlewine's book, The Guitar Players Repair Guide. It has great reviews and sounds like it covers a lot of information.

Aside from Teeter's refret epoxy method (which I used for a very short time) his two books on repair are exceptional. I picked up a refret videotape from Dan Erlewine on Refretting which was also extremely good. This leads me to believe any teaching aide from him would be worth getting.
