Default Reflection issues but here are some shots of the body

These pictures are reducing the yellows so the amber section in the top washes out to white and there is a hint of red in the transition area of the top burst. No reds in the box. I’m going to try to eliminate that color aberration in the finished photos but for now here it is.

The binding is zircote and the lighter purfling line is koa

Smile Hubba Hubba!

Wow, what a LOOKER!!!

I like this a lot. I especially like the bridge shape, with the square ends. A bit "Martinesque" if that is a word. Well, it is now, anyway...

And Tom, as you know, you will be Tone HEAVEN.

WHEEEEE

Paul

For sure!!! This is looking amazing to say the least. The bridge does look much better than the blue tape as John predicted lol!!! The colors on this instrument are wonderful imho!!!

Thanks John and Tony.

Anyone who is interested in coming to B.I.G. (er) 2020 can certainly try this and talk to John about one for yourself also!!!

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the kind remarks.

The box thumps good. I think it will sound just fine.

You know, sometimes there are threads in the general section regarding never ordering a luthier built guitar because you can't play them first and you never know what you are going to get etc. I am just the opposite, I know these luthiers personally, know the pride they take in their builds and know they would never release a guitar they are not proud of or would not want their names on. Their livelihoods depend on the product which happens to have their name on the headstock or the label in the box. If it is not right, they will work on it until it is. I have total confidence in this and never would hesitate or worry about this in the least.

Thumping good sounds good to me John.

Thank you, I know you like the burst lol.

There are rumors that pictures of the finished guitar are to be expected soon...I have not seen it yet either so we will all see if first right here.

Default Parting shots

This guitar will actually hang around my shop for a while until Tom is ready for delivery but that will give it more time to settle in before final adjustments, which is a good thing.

Ready to travel

Gorgeous guitar fellas, and what a surprise on the inlays! Who's the inlay artist? Would love to see the headstock in more detail.
