Hard to say which is 'Tucker's best guitar' but it is one of the many Kinnairds! What is easy to say is that my Myrtle has gotten the most playing time. Slightly different proposition! Some of that is owing to it being a 12 string that 'fits' really well in a worship ensemble.

No doubt it is one fantastic guitar. One 'odd' guitar:short-scale tuned up two half-steps. I will, as someone was pointing out, want another Kinnaird Myrtle!

Greetings from the waters off Sydney, Australia where I have my Kinnaird sycamore parlor...today, my best guitar! Cuz it is with me!!

Hello Bob,

Have not heard much from you lately....I am assuming that your note above means you and your lovely Kinnaird are performing at the Sydney Opera House then? Could you please post some pics or videos from the performance please?

Thanks,

Tom

g'day, Bob, relieved you guys made it down there safely! Glad you still like the 7/8's 12-banger, and that you have the P-1 by your side. Tell the family "hi" from us.

Videos to come at some later date, but Bob did send this as a goodwill gesture.

Thanks Steve!

I hope to have a picture of me with the guitar for you sometime before I leave.

I remember hearing once what the best way home from Oz was, but I forget at the moment. I hope you're having a great time!

I know people are anxiously waiting on more guitar pics. Some unexpected jobs this week slowed down our plan for this one to be done by now, but it's almost there. Here's a sneak peak:

A silky smooth top:

A look at the front (there will be gold Gotoh tuners with walnut buttons):

A look at the back:

And a peek at the player's side:

Thanks for watching!

Yes sir - Oregon Myrtle with Walnut laminations to match the dark stripes down the back and to match the Myrtle sides and Walnut bindings.

Thanks for the kind remarks, guys! And yes, the neck is Myrtle. Well, and walnut too. So it's myrtle/walnut/myrtle/walnut/myrtle.
With carbon fiber bars inside, next to a two-way truss rod. Plenty strong, and stable.

Steve
