Thanks for this. I think this is a particularly easy way to get into palm muting. One can build rhythmic styles using muting later on, after getting used to this approach.

Thanks for the tips. Been trying to learn to do this forever. I don't use a flat pick but see folks do this with fingerpicking but it always seems that changing the angle of my hand just seems to screw things up. Maybe I'll try it again.
