What Device is Required for Plugging 2 Mics into Mic Input of Amplifier
Was looking at the Art Promix 3 ch mixer, but was told this was designed to plug into a line level input and will achieve noise when plugged into mic level input.
What would I require to be able to run two dynamic mics into the mic channel of my acoustic guitar amp (Boss Acoustic Singer)? BTW, one of the mics will be going into a Boss VE-2 Harmonizer. Thanks in advance! |

I use a Yamaha MG10 mixer and like it a lot.
Works great with my Acoustic 40 watt amp and also my JBL Eon One PA.

A mixer like this will do it:

In a pinch, you could try a cable with 2 mic ends on one end and one mic end on the other one.
With this cable, you can plug both mics into one channel but can't make adjust them from each other. https://www.guitarcenter.com/Pro-Co/...74034489661.gc

They are called "microphone mergers" or "microphone combiners".
Most run as little as $25-$75

This does seem to be the simplest way to solve the OP's problem.

Thank God for the message forums. Although in hiatus, I've been heavily immersed in sound for a very long time. I would have never known these little gizmos existed. Thanks all, very much for your help!
