Default Calton and Hoffee merge

Just read this on Facebook post by Calton Cases. Calton and Hoffee are merging to become hXc Inc.

https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=calton%20cases

The post says the merged company will also distribute Hiscox case in North America. Almost a one-stop-shop for some of the best cases out there. I use all 3.

The new name sounds like an early 2000's energy drink.

It's late, first thing that came to mind was "P90X". Then I thought about this huge rooster I had... his name was P90X or just P90.

Personally, I'm happy to see good quality cases all in one place. Come to think of it, I do need a case.

They could have done Calton + Hoffee = Coffee.

Why are they merging? Is the high-end case market too small to support two full companies?

I probably will never need or afford a Calton or Hoffee, but this is good news:

In addition, hXc will also be the North American distributor for Hiscox Cases. “Adding Hiscox Cases to our company will allow us to offer quality cases at a lower price point”, says Hoffee. “Our customers demand the best cases at any price, and the addition of Hiscox allows us to provide that”.

Hmm, it’s April 11, so not an April fools joke, but HXC is an abbreviation for the hardcore punk sub-genre and scene.

The merger part is interesting, but the fact that Hiscox will have a North American distributor again is the real news, at least to me!

Interesting. I wonder if I can order a custom Coffee with a Calton fiberglass bottom half and a Hoffee carbon fiber top half.

I'm a super happy Hoffee owner, and I'm curious to see how the product offerings will change (if at all) going forward!

Exactly what I was thinking, too.

Pretty cool, I like all of those three products/brands! Seems like a good move for them.

Hi dantin…
Sounds like a 'uniting' dipped in $$$$.

I own 2 Caltons. Best cases ever.
