Default Draft of a new original fingerstyle piece

Hey guys, those of you that know me know I haven't written in a good long time. I've been feeling some inspiration though and churned out two songs in the last week. I don't have my usual mics right now so I decided to make a demo of one of them on my facebook page before I recorded it for real for youtube.

Lemme know what you think,

PS It's entirely public, doesn't require a like or subscription or anything Just didn't want to host it on my youtube channel.

Pretty good overall though a little gimmicky with some of the harmonics. IMO the music comes first, guitar centric stuff later if it fits.

Ah yes, should have braced myself for the gimmick comments. I wrote it without any of the "gimmicks" and later added the taps and artificial harmonics as a sort of development. Like the second phrase where I play it fretted the first time and with artificial harmonics the second.

Though since you tend towards thinking it's a gimmick and I assume a lot will agree with you I'll probably tone it back more.

Thanks for the comment! I always respect your opinions and like hearing from you.
