First thing I would do is listen to his recordings insessantly. There are few poeple that I personaly have ever heard who can play Robert Johnson, like Robert Johnson. The best I have heard is a women named Rory Block. Look her up on Youtube. She may have tutorials, I don't know.

Where to start playing like Robert Johnson? At the crossroads. Midnight's your best bet. Bring a pen to sign the contract

Those lessons are a tad pricey though.

You could take a look at this guy, who supposedly taught Robert Johnson himself....

Scott Ainslie has a good DVD on the robert Johnson material, I prefer it over the Rory material; at least at my skill level.

You could even jump straight to some Charlie (aka Charley) Patton. He was a pioneer and many claim him to be both Son House and Robert Johnson's main musical influence. From what I have heard/learned of him, his stuff isn't too crazy, but is really fun to play and sounds great.

No, the Devil has special uses for the curse of banjo playing...

Your room is right in here, Maestro.
