Default Tárrega | Lagrima

One of my favorites and one of only a few of Tarrega’s compositions I’m capable of playing myself.
Your playing is fantastic.
Thanks for sharing.

Patrik, I dig how you're into every nuance and mood of the compositions you play! You've compelled me to be a fan not only of your artistry but of Classical Guitar. Thanks!

I may just learn this piece again. In fact, it was the required piece for the junior guitar competition in 1993 hosted by Fresno State University under the guidance of the world renowned flamenco guitarist, Juan Serrano.

Nice to see and hear...great camera angle to learn the piece. I looked up the meaning of Lagrima....it means "teardrops"

That was nicely done and a very pretty piece!

The story is that Tarrega was profoundly homesick for his native Spain while in London and was advised to put his melancholy to music. He reportedly said that each note should be played, falling as though it were a teardrop.
I’m not sure how much of this is truth or just a musical “urban legend”.

Very nice and I can hear you pulling out the capabilities of that particular guitar too, playing to it's sustain and over tones.
