The book match is perfect! The rolling quilt and the tortoiseshell blends really well. Often times some runout will effect the book match look but this is fantastic. I love Tom's aesthetics as well. I'm considering a Baritone build with Tom. Tree of course because...well, its Tree. Might go with Port Orford Cedar top. This guitar will be a monster! (In a good way!)

You won't regret it! Mine is a constant delight! And effectively two guitars in one. That sounds like a great spec too - I'd originally planned to go with figured hog for my baritone, but in the end decided to save that for my second Sands, which Tom will be starting shortly... More on which in due course!

OK, I picked it up from Tom's place on Monday. He very recently sent me some more pics of it that he took after stringing it up.

It sounds every bit as good as it looks!
