Thanks so much - for the congrats and the nice words about the book. I am glad you enjoyed it.

It is indeed...I keep refreshing the tracking but it still says the label has been created but UPS doesn't have the shipment yet. I'm not too concerned, but I am going out of town in a couple of weeks and would much prefer to have it arrive before I go rather than have my mom babysit the house while I'm gone to get it.

He told me that they had some new dark chocolatey koa. It was very tempting to order a custom with it, but having not seen it, I opted to go with the stock one as I liked the koa veneer on that one.

I'm sure I'll be quite jealous of the folks that get the new koa - it sounds lovely.

Sorry for the off topic post, but I am quite grateful someone made a thread of all the shipping videos, they are a lot of fun to watch.

I don't know about that. Your guitar looks great! That golden koa is some of the best looking tops Emerald makes in my opinion. It's really special.

Here's the latest (2/18/22) shipping video:

They also discuss the HyVibe system. Apparently there were quite a few HyVibe installs in the current shipment.

And there is a quick tour of the new shop area. Looks like Emerald is expanding.

Indeed. Besides AGF and the Carbon Fiber Forum, I wonder how folks in the US are finding out about Emerald Guitars....

They have an active presence on both YouTube and Facebook - and maybe other social media too.

Yes. And they've done a nice job of it. Their website is really well thought out.

Whatever they're doing, it would appear that the majority of the guitars in the shipping videos are headed to the US.

Agreed. They set the bar pretty high compared with the competition.

So it would seem. The short walk-through the factory showed a LOT of guitars going through finishing - and that they have at least 30 people working there. Granted some of them may be part of the construction crew, but the conclusion I come to is that they have a very comfortable business going there.

Just watched this week's video (3/4)- there's a stunning blue Kestrel right at the end.

So what drinks are we sipping this week?

That does not look like the standard vibrant blue color in that Kestrel. I like it.
