Aaaah, that's a familiar looking workbench with all those drill holes
You'll love working with Joel. One of the most humble and nice guys I've met. And his work is just amazing |

That's a stunning piece of wood! I reckon, if you can get it, you should go with the Ziricote fretboard as well. (Take a look at the Hatcher SJ build thread, he uses a Cocobolo back/sides/fretboard, the effect is beautiful)

Joel HAS been amazing to work with! Through the whole process I've felt like his friend, rather than just someone commissioning a guitar...seems like a great guy!
And yep - I REALLY like that ziricote, thanks - and we've decided to go with the ziricote fretboard as well... More pics as Joel progresses! Tim |

Hi Tim,
Great piece of Ziricote. That's going to be one very special guitar. And you're right about Joel - he's amazing. I look forward to watching your build. Enjoy, BK |

I'm looking really forward to following your build as you have picked almost exactly what I would like to have Joel build for me one day.

I don't know where he finds sets like that...

Yes Pete, I'm hoping this combo (along with Joel's magic), will sound as good as it will look!
