SOLD Brondel A-2c Essential, Adirondack and Figured Mahogany, Hoffee Case
This guitar really changed my outlook on what an acoustics should sound like and forever sealed my fate as a vintage-oriented guitar lover. It's a wonderful instrument with great projection, power, and tone. The neck carve is exquisite. It originally came with an Access case but that has since been upgraded to a Hoffee carbon fiber case. The end pin has been enlarged to accommodate a pickup installation (but there is no pickup currently installed).
- Adirondack spruce top, figured mahogany back and sides - Honduran mahogany neck - 25.6" scale length - cutaway - Very cool, NOS German celluloid nitrate binding - Brazilian rosewood fretboard, bridge, and headstock veneer - Bone nut and saddle - Waverly nickel tuners with oval buttons - Ebony bridge and end pins with abalone dots - Abalone dot side markers - Double acting truss rod - 1 3/4" nut - 2 5/16" saddle - Upgraded, custom fit Hoffee case (upgraded from original Access hard shell) Condition is excellent. There are some bumps and scratches and a small dent in the back of the neck. This was the guitar that forever changed my tastes in acoustic guitars (for the better). I will miss it. Ugh. Note: The bridge was re-slotted, but the repair is very hard to see. The original saddle was in the wrong location. $6,500 shipped and Paypaled. No trades.
