Hello. This guitar was completed December 20 of 2019, shipped to tone shop Guitars in Texas and purchased by me in late 2020. I am the original owner. Fantastic guitar but I need to sell a few things. This guitar has never left my house.I’ll call the 9.9 condition just because I have played it over the last year. Typical Collings flawless quality. This guitar was built to be a bluegrass flatpicker. Large Soundhole adds a little low and in mids. More round it off high-end but plenty of shimmer. It’s a great formula. It also has very subdued tortoise beautiful binding on the fretboard. Very hard to let this one go but I’ll get another someday. SOLD

What’s the top wood? I played one of these recently with an Adi top and it was outstanding in tone and feel. Loads of headroom. Rich bass with nice warm shimmer to the upper registers. Typical Collings build quality. Just a really nice guitar.

These are all Adirondack tops. It really doesn’t get much better than this. Collings are so consistent my old beaters are almost as good as this. It’s a stunning guitar.
