Default All the Right Reasons Jayhawks cover

I was listening to an old playlist over the weekend and stopped washing the dishes when this song came on. I listened to it again a few times and picked up the guitar to give it a try. Any feedback from singers or players would be great.

I have been a longtime fan of the Jayhawks and Gary Louris’ songwriting and singing. This song is from the 2004 Rainy Day Music.

The sun is out here on Long Island this morning but with all the unrest across the country there is an element of that rainy day feeling.

When their album “Hollywood Town Hall” came out in 1992, I thought, from the cover picture, they were a Kansas band. Nope they were a Minneapolis band.

Thanks J-Doug. the Jayhawks continue to be a long time favorite. Check out the 2007 Gary Louris solo "Vagabonds" especially the song "True Blue" and I really love their drummer Tim O'Reagan. His 2006 eponymous solo is killer with "Anybody's Only" and "Girl/World" making me check the composers to make sure they were not Lennon and McCartney.
