Default Got a couple of new toys

Got a couple of little toys: Hotone Ampero One and a Mooer PE 100.

The Ampero One is a modeler and effects box. I'm running both through my Yamaha THR 30ii off a battery pack. The One is really nice. Most of the amps and effects sounds great... especially if you tweak them a bit. And, all the switches and pedal are completely customizable to turn on and off whatever you want. It's really great and runs on 9v which means it runs off my battery packs, with the Yamaha is a super compact portable option with a ton of sounds.

The PE 100 was just to get to fool around with. It was $45 and runs off two AAA batteries (or a 9v adapter). (About 2 hours on fully charged batteries as I use rechargeable batteries.) It's not as good as the Ampero, but some sounds are actually really good, especially delay and modulation effects. If it was more than $100, I wouldn't recommend it, but for the price I found it on eBay, it's very worth it.

Hey Rob, couple of nice toys to enjoy the week-end with. Is there a One amp model that sounds particularly good, such as a Marshall or Fender clone?

Yes Dru. Almost all sound good to me and they all, of course, have gain and EQ controls so you can tweak them to your liking. Here's a recent demo:
