If I’m not mistaken, the pebbly finish and Gotoh tuners suggest to me that yours is one of the pre-Peavey models with the Road Tough (RT) finish? If so, despite that Peavey didn’t continue with the RT finish, imo and that of others I’ve read, it’s the best. What year is this one? With the exposed CF purfling, I suspect it’s an ‘09 or ‘10. I’ve owned a charcoal RT since new in ‘08. Great guitar that punches way beyond its small travel size. GLWTS!

The information I received from the person from whom I purchased the Cargo was that it was a "pre-Peavey", dated 2009.
It is difficult to read the label (serial number) so I have to go with the information I was given. Nonetheless, it is a great sounding Cargo (I've owned several before this one) These guitars are so versatile! Inside, outside, camp, beach, etc Thanks! |
