FSOT: Flammang 000 12-Fret, REDUCED, $TRADED
Fantastic 2002 Flammang 000 12 Fret, Adirondack over Mahogany. Really open with great tone. Top is very clean, no structural issues, and the case is in excellent condition as well. Worked myself into a very nice corner where I have three Spruce/Mahogany guitars. Want to add a small builder/boutique, ideally 000 or smaller, with a different wood combo and minimum 2&1/4” spacing at the bridge. Open to ideas, maybe cedar + ??, redwood + ??, etc. Collings, Bourgeois, Huss and Dalton, Webber, John Walker (let one go I shouldn’t have!) etc. On the Martin side, a 00-28vs or 000-28vs maybe. Only issues with the Flammang are a couple of small dents just below the heel on the back, and a ~1/2” small groove close to the base of the neck. Came to me this way and not noticeable when playing and hard to photograph. David builds outstanding guitars! No electronics. Full specs attached. 1&3/4” nut, 24.9” scale, and 2&1/4” spacing at the bridge. $TRADED plus shipping and Paypal if applicable. Last edited by JAMKC; 06-10-2020 at 01:35 PM. |

I really dig the appointments, specifically the tortoiseshell headplate and the rope binding. Very vintage Martin. GLWS!

This is such a handsome guitar! Given the woods are the same as my Flammang and it was from the same period of time, I bet the sound is fantastic. 12 fretted and a short scale. Pushes a lot of my buttons. Very good thing I am locked down. Wondering what would be kept instead of this one.

Flammang makes great guitars. They are way undervalued on the used market. My L45 is one of the nicest guitars I've owned. Wish I was in position to move on this one. Looks like a unique guitar at a more than fair price. let me know if you need a nice electric in trade.
