Default McCubbin Cedar / Honduran Mahogany Large OM Style

I've got a hand built Cedar/Honduran Mahogany larger OM style guitar by David McCubbin in Maryland. Immaculate condition. It is super responsive with great overtones. The woods were tone-tapped to match each other.

The top is very thin for to react quickly, making it unbelievable for fingerpicking. It's got 24 3/4" scale with a 16" radius, the neck is raw somewhat slimmer at the 1st and slowly beefs up as you move toward the 12th, but nothing crazy of a neck (w/ satin finish) that builds as you, I put on gold Gotoh 510 18:1 tuners.

$2,850 shipped, open to many trades, but prefer acoustics (slim C necks) on this one. A Taylor 714ce would be lovely. Depending on the guitar, I could shell out some cash too in a trade. Maybe even McCubbin + my Cordoba Gypsy King Studio for Collings, Santa Cruz. Also interested a Custom Shop Charvel.

Here's my review from '14 on AGF: https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...d.php?t=364025

Pic of my OM for shape comparison included. Sound clips available

I trade on the gear page most of the time, where I have a 100% rating. Am happy to facetime or call before a trade. https://www.thegearpage.net/board/in...eedback/151502

That's cheap for a MacCubbin. He is one of the finest builders I know.

Is that a C model or an E model guitar? The E's are closer to a 00 size, as I recall.

May have played that very guitar when David had a small show at Appalachian Bluegrass. Fantastic guitar. Would have liked to buy it then but it was not within my budget back then. Where are you located?

El
El, I inquired about this one when it was for sale previously. The answer is it’s neither the CS or ES. Actually one of six specials made with specs in between the two. It’s at 15” lower bout @ 3-5/8” max depth.
