I retired about 5 years ago, and at the time I was talking to a fellow retiree who had retired a few years before. I was saying that every morning I said to myself, "Today is Tuesday," or whatever day it was, so I could keep track. He said, "All you need to know is Sunday is the day the big paper comes."

My wife and I retired together so we don't have this issue. Our (frequent) naps are taken together and enjoyed.

If your wife is still working and inquires about your napping, I'd just say, "I'm retired. I'll nap when I want. Now, get back to work!"

Make sure you lock the door during your nap! Safety first...

I agree. My wife is a teacher and off for the summer. Everyday at 2 my miniature poodle looks at me wondering where we will be napping. Busted

Mention that you'd like a little loving. She'll leave you alone.

Congrats and enjoy your retirement!
Did you know that 76.3% of statistics are actually made up?

Put her online, I'll explain!!

Seriously especially in this ridiculous heatwave at 74 I'm starting to feel like I need afternoon naps.
I'm the guy that says he likes changing strings, but since lockdowns etc., I've discovered that dreads and 12s can sound OK with one year old strings!
