small body nut width 1 11/16

I've grown really attached to my Taylor gs mini and the smaller nut width.
I would like to upgrade to a similar size or slightly larger guitar with solid wood, deeper tone and 1 11/16 nut.
So many smaller guitars are 1 3/4--just don't like the feel--prefer 1 11/16.
any help?

I searched for the same solution for the same reason, having the GS Mini as well. Ended up with a 00-15M, personally more comfortable. Both aren't too much bigger than the GS Mini. Both come with standard 1 11/16th nuts.

Gerry ... I believe that you can order a Taylor with a 1 11/16" nut width with the "Modify a Model" program, which means at no extra cost. So a grand concert, such as a GC4, GC8, or any other GC (depending upon how much you want to spend) should be available for you. Also, a GC has a short scale length.

I was also thinking of the Martin 00-15M. Great guitar for the money, 1 11/16" nut width and very comfortable body size to play.

I would like to find a 12 fret slot head "parlor" (smaller than a 000) with a 1 11/16 nut, that has solid rosewood back and sides with a cedar top. Of course I would like it to be inexpensive and sound like a million dollars. I don't care about "bling" just about the tone. Any suggestions?

There a quite a few suggestions I think could be considered. Would be fairly inexpensive and would tick each box except the nut width. Seems like the smaller boxes tend to come with wider nuts. Have you experienced this spec and find it too wide?

Michael Millard of Froggy Bottom Guitars will make any instrument with any neck width you like. I ordered an H3 with a 1 11/16 neck because I had been playing a D-28 since the glaciers melted and I am beyond learning to play the 1 3/4 that is standard for the H3. There was no extra charage for the narrower neck. The H3 might be slightly bigger than you want, but he'll do the same for small bodied models.

Takamine TAN55C, a discontinued model, solid cedar top, solid rosewood back, 1 11/16 nut. AXC body size... about the size of a classical body. They show up occasionally on ebay and I think there is one at Elderly currently.
