Default Competition for Bose S1 = Yorkville - EXM70

Yorkville sound has a nice all in one pa/guitar amp that competes with the Bose S1. Also has a new battery powered option available. At 70 watts RMS, it has more power than the Bose S1, same channels and weight class. Uses 2 x 5 inch driver plus a tweeter. Has eq and reverb individually adjustable per ch.

The korg runs well off of a 12v SLA battery directly plugged into the battery tray. It does however, have a power supply that runs at an odd, high frequency and it does not play nicely with other high frequency power supplies on the same line, so only one battery per item, not chained, when powering something that runs as a pre for the korg. My friend learned that the hard way and blew the Korgs power supply. After having it fixed, it works but not the same as it was before the debacle.

Power the korg with its own 12v and you can avoid this drama entirely but, however it’s learned, it was learned and now you know too.....

Looks like and interesting piece of gear, especially with the battery option.
