Grover Sta-tite Tuner Treble Side
Looking for a vintage Grover Sta-tite treble side tuner to replace the imposter pictured below. It is for a 1935 Martin 0-17 and I believe the tuner is a model G-93.

Rudy,
Pretty sure they're cast. Nickel finish with oval buttons. G-93's I think. Please PM me your email address and I'll send you the pic. Is anyone else having trouble seeing the pic? Shows up fine in my browser. Jess |

Hi Jess,
The G-93 is a stamped base oval button. I have the Sta-tite Deluxes which are cast base and have a butterbean tuner button so they wouldn't be of any use in your application. I do a lot of 3+2 slot head 5 string banjos so I end up with extra treble side tuners, but that won't be of any help to you. No photo shows in your post for me, and it looks like you have it in a Google account requiring login to view. If you post to forums occasionally I'd recommend Imgur, it's free and quite easy to use. |

Here's the photo on Imgur, for those who can't see the Googlephotos shot above: |

Your Imgur photo shows up just fine.
Man, Them's rough! They are stamped base tuners. You might want to consider a full set of 3+3 Golden Age Restoration tuners from StewMac. http://www.stewmac.com/Hardware_and_...ers_3and3.html Last edited by Rudy4; 03-18-2018 at 08:30 PM. |
