Yep. Took a look at FB Marketplace and the prices were laughable. Way too much junk to wade through, too.
As Arnold would say: I"ll be back...not.

Oh, yeah. I saw a guy selling some studio gear and inquired. JBL 308s, he wanted more than they sell for new, I said that and his excuse was that he bought them when they were more expensive. Same thing on a synth. People just wait for suckers, I guess.

Due to the internet, you only find good deals when either people are desperate or are just wanting to "clean out."

In any case, you just have to be quick and be on a diligent lookout.

I've gotten several great deals from FB Marketplace. I wonder if it's a location thing.

I recently sold a guitar through the market place. it was fairly priced and compared to Craigslist, I got lots of inquiries. I’ve also purchased house hold items for a good price. Recently picked of a set of old cast iron pans for cheap. You just have to pick and choose.

I'm not on Facebook but my neighbor saw a tractor implement that I had been looking for (a 3 point land plane) and told me about it. I looked at it and bought it even though I knew it was too large for my tractor. I turned around and listed it on my local craigslist two weeks later and made $600 profit. That was my only Facebook marketplace experience.

I picked up a Levin LG-13( like the one used in The Sound of Music movie ) in great shape for very little. Plan on using it as my work/studio guitar. I saw one on reverb for 7x what I paid.
Occasionally a good deal on a guitar will come along but it is usually sold quickly.

I've sold a few things on Market place in the last few months - electric tools I no longer need, and bought a computer desk, dining table and chairs. AS mentioned, you have to be diligent, know what you want and what you want to pay, and act fast.
When selling, there are bottomfeeders who offer much less than your asking price, hoping for a deal so they can resell.

It's free. It's completely optional. There is no downside.
If you don't want to negotiate then go to Kmart.
