Ideas for simple"sound on sound" recording
I'm pretty much a recording newbie, with very simple needs. I want to record my voice (one channel), my guitar (a second channel, recorded simultaneously with the first), and be able to listen to these channels while recording an additional channel of guitar. I like what I've read about the Zoom recorders, but I am getting the impression that they won't do this as a stand-alone item.
Suggestions? Thanks!

Some of them will do what you want; you'll have to check each model for its specs.

Are you open to recording to a computer? To me this sort of thing is much easier in recording software where I can see the audio files and easily do editing. You could get a simple two input recording interface and one mic.
