Default Everything I Own - David Gates(Bread)song

We played a Luncheon for a Senior Adult group yesterday at Methodist church in Charlottesville VA. This is our third time playing for them. It's wonderful to see them light up when an old song like this takes them back to the days of their youth. Singing along with tears of remembrance. Music & Memories are great therapy. Thought I share this song with you folks.
This song David Gates wrote about a year after his dad died as a tribute to him.

Wow, fantastic job, and it sounds like the audience thought so, too.

Well done - this song had a whole new meaning to me when I found out after all these years that it wasn't just another love song, but written for his Dad. After losing mine a few months back, it's kind of hard to listen to.

Sorry to hear you lost your dad. My dad and my mentor in music / life is still with us at 83.
I'm glad this song still touches people.
Thank you for the kind words.
(and thank you to David Gates for this great tribute!)
