Default Baseball?

We are nearing the All-Star break. Last night I listed to my team win their 10th in a row. Last time I recall the Redsox starting this well was 1978. (That didnt end well—epic collapse sealed by Bucky Dent.)

So who’s got a dog in the fight? What do you reckon the second part of the season will feature?

Another Red Sox fan here.

That was some at bat Mookie Betts had last night - he just refused to strike out and then hit his second grand slam of the season!

NL Central's gonna be a dogfight between my Cubs and the Brew Crew. I love it. Having Milwaukee move to the National League was one of the best things to ever happen for creating rivalries.

Guess we can't use Bucky's full Red Sox nation name on AGF.

The Red Sox are my home team and they have never had 100 wins in a season during my lifetime. They are on a pace that would put them at 115 wins this year. They have 66 victories so far, which is a new record for wins by any team before the All-Star Game. Because of my sorted history with my home team, all I’ll say is — The Bosox are doing well

I didn't even do the asterisk thing; Mods work hard enough without me poking the hornet's nest.

But we still know what it is. Took 26 long years before we could laugh it off.

Red Sox fan here. I saw Mookie's at bat last night as I was doing the dinner dishes. Epic.

One word.
YANKEE'S

I read someplace that the Yankee's have more players in the All-Star game than any other team.

Didn't Babe Ruth used to play for Boston ?

The amazing team for me is Seattle. By this time they are usually riding comfortably near the bottom. I don't think they have the horses to top Houston, but I like seeing them challenge so far.

If the Dodgers can keep a healthy line up....no so far....they might finish the season in good shape and make it to the play offs and who knows, WS?

Reckoning on some big trades. My team ought to lie low and not go big on Machado or Britton. Yanks will get a starter. Happ?

Sox Need an arm in the pen. Lefty.

Can’t trade Swihart now that Vasquez is dinged up unless they get a catcher back.
