Mick also played guitar on "Moonlight Mile" alongside Mick Taylor, one of my favorite songs by the Rolling Stones. Not sure how proficient he is but when you're in a world famous rock n roll band for 60 years I'm sure you pick up some guitar basics and cowboy chords along the way.

I was hoping someone had some insight on Micks Hummingbird for example (vintage, standard, older standard). It looks like the newer vintage hummingbird because of the finish but the trust rod cover is different. I do not recall ever seeing a older standard even 1960's that had that color, they are usually brighter red and yellow.

I think Keith is playing Hummingbird in identical burst.

Looks like just a standard that darkened with age. Is it common for the Hummingbird to darken and take on a matte finish with years?

Someone on the net counted all the j-45 versions that existed so far and he got a list of over 50. That was a few years ago and since gibson has created atleast a studio version.
My point is that it can be an impossible task to identify exactly what version of a guitar and does it really matter? Mick likes and plays hummingbirds. Has done so since the late 60's and did so recently at some friends funeral (singing wild horses).
