1.Websites/software that prompt me to do something and offer two options - Yes, or Remind Me Later. Where is the button for "How About Never?"

2. Cheesy commercial bathroom tissue that is so cheap and weak that the force needed for it to come off the roll is greater than the force which tears it.

3. Any and all advertising that starts with "in these uncertain times....".

People in this thread are PISSED! It might be good to let any of that sort of thing whiz by as you/we duck.

I am glad to not have all these pet peeves because it makes life much lighter.

It isn't that things don't ever get mad. I just don't care to hang onto them so they become pet peeves. I think that talking about pet peeves only serves to enhance the pissed-ness. For our Canadian and British friends, "pissed" here refers to being mad, rather than drunk. However, taken to the extreme, the can certainly look the same to an observer.

Yep, my reply was in jest, the secret to life is not sweating the small stuff.

In the words of Francis Sawyer aka Psycho (from Stripes), "You just made the list, Buddy."

Psycho : You just made the list, buddy. And I don't like nobody touching my stuff. So just keep your meat-hooks off. If I catch any of you guys in my stuff, I'll kill you.

Default Learn the language ... oops, too late.

Those who use the word “literally” metaphorically or illustratively,
as in ‘I was so disappointed it literally tore my heart out!’
No,
that did not happen.
The words ‘literally’ and ‘actually’ are synonyms.

Also, the linguistic lameness of those who try to express themselves forcefully by saying .. usually in the comments on YouTube ..
that their favorite artist is “underrated”, or worse “criminally underrated”.
Recently, I literally saw a comment stating that Jimi Hendrix was an “underrated guitarist”.
When?
Where?
By who?!?
