Default New martin

Hello everyone
Just purchased my first Martin a dc13e. I was a bit worried about buying a Mexican made Martin but the build on this guitar is wonderful, beautiful looking guitar and sound great. Any thoughts on these martins? Or does anyone else here own one. Like to here anything you might have to say.

Thanks

My SC-13E was made in Mexico. It's an exceptional instrument and I'm very grateful to those who built it for their skill and expertise.

Congrats on your new 13.

Congrats on your new guitar!

When I hear a guitar was built by a reputable company in Mexico, I know it will be of very high quality.

Don't forget that most of Leo Fender's working staff during those hallowed Pre CBS years in Fullerton were of Mexican heritage.

Since you're not able to post a pic, I'll put up one of the GPCRSG that I've had for three years. Thid is when it was new;

It's similar to yours in a GPC body and it just keeps getting nicer and better sounding. When I first got it, I described the mutenye as a girls blond hair blowing in the sun. Over the years, it's darkend into an ash blonde. She's now more mature but just as good looking.

And the sound just keeps getting fuller. I also two Custom Shop Martins; a OM-18 Special and a J-17 and this guitar holds it's own every time in the rotation. Sure the others do sound better but this one still sounds all Martin. And with the cut-away and the pick-up upgraded to a JJB, my Road Series Mutenye will always have a place in my heart.
