Fingerstyle original "Andy's Gift" (Beneteau SJ)

I first discovered instrumental acoustic guitar music when I was 17 after borrowing a friend's iPod that had Andy Mckee's "Art of Motion" album on it. In a way, many of Andy's tunes got me through some rough spots in life and still provide me with inspiration 8 years later. This is a tune dedicated to his music and spirit.

Tuning is DADF#AD or open D.

Andy’s tune “Dreamcatcher” is one I learned a year ago that brought this song to existence...I love the way it flows. Give it a listen

I have a hard time playing this tune on most guitars other than this one. Marc’s guitar’s have helped me write a lot of material!

When I first came up with the verse that’s how I felt. Been playing this style for a long time but when I find these melodies I still feel super lucky!
