Default Best Fully Adjustable Amp Stand??

I've been using a On-Stage RS7705 which was okay but a little wobbly for my Scherter Jam 400. Eventually I had to have the weld at the crossbar fixed because it gave out. I had my car stolen with a bunch of gear in it the other day and so now I need a new stand. I'd like to get something better than the RS7705 but it seems to be the the only stand that you can adjust the angle of tilt on. Does anyone know of anything else that has that feature and might be a little sturdier?

Thanks.

I just ordered the same stand again. It seems to be the only one on the market with adjustable angle, which seems crazy to me.

Best? Don't know about that. Mostly they are either weak or bulky.

I use a K&M combo amp stand. The rear leg can be extended or retracted to change the angle. It is still limited as to how much it can be adjusted. I usually have it tilted as far as it will go and would probably go a little further if I could.

Sturdy, folds compact but it is on the heavy side at 4 lbs. And not cheap.

I did see that one. The idea is great but I don't think it's arms(?) are long enough or that it's heavy duty enough for the Jam 400. Thanks, though.

Yea the Jam 400s and Roys a hard to find for an amp stand for. I have the Schertler amp stand but I don't like the fixed angle it puts the amp at.

I put a pole mount in my Roy and I use a short speaker stand and I like it much better than using an amp stand.

Rated weight capacity = 77 lbs.

Roy weight = 46 lbs.

I have had a 40 lb amp on mine. As for the leg length, the tilt tends to keep the amp nestled in the corner but the Jam is pretty deep and has a lot of weight on the front so that could be an issue.

I use one of these for my Roland AC60 or my Fender Champion 40. A nice height, folds flat, and tilt-adjustable. Not sure if it’s now a discontinued model though...

Would tilt back legs work or do you need it off the ground?

I have legs on my Prosonic and built a deal for a Peavey Classic 50 2;12 once that worked great.

I had a couple of the metal adjustable stands and they never fit right for me. I ended up building a couple of different leg setups to tilt the amps where I wanted them. I had a larger combo that I cut plywood triangles for legs and also made the "T" legs from oak for the 5 watt tube amp below.

The hardest part is placing the amp on its side over a section of dowel rod to find the center of gravity to locate the pivot point location.

I bring a fold up chair for my amps. That's the cheapest solution I know of.

That would have been perfect. Too bad it's discontinued. It's hard to believe that there's no one else making something like that.

That's what I've been doing all week. Part of me wonders why I just spent $64 on a stand that's not even that great. Oh well.
