Default Recommendations for Advanced Fingerstyle Guitar Workshops

Hi, I would like to try and develop my playing by attending some workshops. Happy to travel internationally. I'd be grateful if anyone has some good recommendations for advanced fingerstyle guitar..? Thanks in advance

I just had a quick listen to " The Star of County Down" . Sounds real clear and very fine.

I attended years ago a Pierre Bensusan residential seminar in France and it was truly amazing..DADGAD only but you can apply the same principals to any tuning.Pierre is truly an incredible player and teacher too.

Yes, this is the kind of thing I would love to attend. Just looked it up... Wow € 990 for 1 remaining place in August... eek. I'm sure it's well worth it mind.

Very cool that Pierre does this workshop, at his own home to boot. Given that accommodations for a week in France are included, the price seems quite reasonable. Good motivation to improve skills (he only takes intermediate/advanced players!)

Yes that's a good point about accommodation. Maybe next year if it's on

Pierre Bensusan's Residential Seminar is the only one I would recommend, Nik...and for too many reasons for me to elaborate here.

To note, the attendance-fees not only include a place to stay in Pierre's home in the French countryside, but there is a separate dedicated kitchen for the 6 or 7 students to use.

Thanks Larry! I have decided I want to attend, maybe even this year if not next (hopefully it will be on). I'm just getting the funds together! Thanks for your input on this

Cool.

I will be hosting a 2-day clinic with Pierre at my home in the Oregon countryside at the end of May 2020...
