Default Who's offering online lessons?

I figured I'd ask who here is offering online lessons via Skype, FaceTime, etc. Who knows other great teachers who are available?

I had my first formal guitar lesson ever on Saturday and have another one with a different teacher tomorrow. I'm over the moon about it! It's been such a great experience so far.

With so many artists out there with no foreseeable income from live events, I think this is an excellent way to keep them afloat and we benefit from it, too. Maybe a mod could pin this?

Who's offering lessons?

There's a guy in Fairport, NY named Mike Gladstone. He's a phenomenal musician. He's currently the guitarist in Gary Lewis & The Playboys and also plays with Lou Graham of Foreigner.

You can find him and send him a message on Facebook: Tonesearch Studios

And, no, I'm not him!

I suggest you use Google and do a search, or...
search You Tube. You will find more than what you ever needed or wanted.

I did this thread hoping we could put some cash into the pockets of the musicians on here who are offering lessons, especially since so many are having to cancel shows for the foreseeable future.

I already have some set up!

My friend Nathan James is a fantastic player--primarily Blues--all genres of electric acoustic, etc. A rare opportunity as he typically tours a lot

As a bonus (to you) Andrew York often performs in Germany. In the future, you might be able to see an online connection play in person. And, his wife accurately described him to me as "approachable."

Jamie Stillway is an excellent teacher and works over Skype and FaceTime. I've learned a ton from her over this past year! She makes a living as a professional guitarist- fingerstyle but also flatpicking duos with Eric Skye (see the above post for another great lesson option!). Not sure if she has any room in her teaching schedule, but her contact info:http://jamiestillway.com/lessons/

Best to you on your guitar journey!

beth

Posting their fees would be extremely helpful too!

I signed up on countryguitaronline.com - first month is free, then $12.95/month or $60 for 6 months after that. Very thorough, informative lessons w/tablature and very easy to follow along.

I've been taking lessons from a guy named Mike Baelde who's associated with "Camfire Guitar Star". It's a funny name but the 1-on-1 Skype sessions ($60/hr) with Mike are fantastic. He always keeps me moving forward, has a lesson plan, but is flexible. I've been taking these lessons for over a year and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Check this out. You can get two free sessions: https://www.campfireguitarstar.com/1on1webcam
