Yep I followed that show for years (I had a celeb crush on Gillian Anderson [emoji23]).

But now I’m done with Ozark so it’s gonna be another painful year long wait. Next show that’s coming soon with a new season is Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu. And can’t bing that one because they only release one episode a week.

we watched epi 6 & 7 last night. it just keeps getting better. We loved the whole series except the Darlene and Wyatt scene, I think I threw up in my mouth a little !! That woman is as evil as all the rest of them !

Just when you think it can't get any darker....

It gets darker.

Darlene is evil. Sick in the head for sure. A good character to hate.

Binge watching has ruined the TV experience. Its like eating all your Halloween candy in one day.

Great analogy - It is like eating all your Halloween candy in one day but I don't consider it a ruined experience (the watching, that is ... not the stomach ache).

I think binging enhances the TV experience.

I've finished Ozark season 3. I really like the show, but I kinda think there's just too many "close calls" for it to be believable. The show is a bit fantastical.

Agree about being a bit grossed out with Wyatt and Darlene.

I wonder if the actor that plays Wyatt was given "hazard pay" for that??

Of course it's a bit fantastical... it's a show.

Seriously though... if anyone was actually working with a cartel and the mob in real life, I would think it would be really tough to navigate and pretty intense.

We each derive enjoyment our own way.

I was simply trying to communicate that for *my* own sake of enjoyment - the story has to be relate-able and believable - to me. I find Ozark to be a bit out of bounds in that regard.

No doubt working for and being beholden to a drug cartel would be very difficult to navigate and extremely intense! For that reason, I think most people would make a mistake and get whacked long before they were faced with as many clutch situations as Marty and Wendy have thus far.

But hey, that's just like, uh, my opinion, man...

finished it last night, was not expecting that ending, quite the shock factor though .

True it might not be very realistic, be it sure made good , captivating TV. One intense problem after another with just a hint of comedy thrown in. And great characters to love or hate.

I'll be watching the last episode tonight. It's been a great season so far.

Started watching it tonight, and thought the story was compelling, but the acting was not up to snuff.

I'm not giving up yet, though!

I can't recall the quality of the acting at the beginning but it's actually really good, especially Jason Bateman (Marty) and Julia Garner (Ruth).

I finished season 3 last night ... yes, as mentioned before, a shocker but no Spoilers.
