Very good indeed. The lighting is excellent.

Lovin' all the great photos!!

As an aside, why is it whenever I post a photo it's never right side up?
This is not a riddle.

Thanks!

It's usually because you used a cell phone or your camera was positioned vertically. In camera (phone) it will automatically realign the photo where the computer will frequently not. Once you post it, if it's sideways or upside down, just realign the image on your computer and repost.

The day after the full moon, the moon sets at sunrise over the mountains here.

Yesterday morning's show ...

You’re right about the photos coming from my iPhone, they are aligned correctly on my computer but never on AGF?
I figured this was a great thread to post that question.
Thanks, Scott

Probably because your computer corrects the metadata automatically and rotates the image. The AGF just sees the metadata as it is...

Another killer shot, Mr. Paul!

I had a similar view, but no long lens to shoot it with. And my cell phone is worthless for such shots.

Fantastic shot Mr Paul!!

Well after 4 seasons in 1 day & some steady rain on Good Friday morning it cleared to a very pleasant afternoon so took Saxon for a walk up the hill behind home.

Your camera and computer are artificially/automatically re-aligning the presumed normal default landscape (long axis of image in a horizontal configuration) photographic orientation to the original portrait view (long axis of photograph vertically oriented), without changing the basic digital information stored with the photograph--information that tells the photograph that by default it should exist as a landscape image. So that even though you originally took the photograph in portrait configuration, when you upload that image from your computer, it remains in landscape mode.

Solution: With the photograph on your computer, use an image editor to save the faux portrait-aligned photograph in a landscape orientation; a good photo editor should automatically recognize the default picture alignment, of course. Now, use the image editor to manipulate that landscape image (originally taken in portrait mode) back to a portrait alignment; save as a portrait photo. Upload to AGF and see what happens.

On my computer, portrait photographs (taken with my Nikon CoolPix 995 digital camera) by default show in landscape orientation. So with my image editor I simply re-position them to the portrait alignment, and then save them.

Addendum: One wonders if one can change the default camera setting on an IPhone (I've never used one, in actual fact). When shooting in portrait-alignment, perhaps one could preset the default photograph position to portrait (assuming the default setting is landscape, to begin with).
