John Prine RIP
I've been praying for John. So sad to lose this poet! I recorded this yesterday.

Oh, man, he was the best of them. Honest, funny, heartfelt, authentic, such a unique voice. I have played his songs all my life right up until today. I saw him in a show with Bonny Raitt in 1970 or 71, I don't remember who was the headliner and who was the opener, but they were both great, young, full of life and talent, and he endured as an icon until now, and with his death, he belongs to the ages...
It breaks my heart to see him go this way, after all he survived. Rest in peace John, and thanks for all you have given us.
