Duet 1 vs 2?
I have the opportunity to pick up a Apogee Duet 1 on CL for a decent price and I was wondering what people's thoughts were on whether or not it would be worth the extra money to wait to find a Duet 2.
For reference, I am simply looking to record as basically as possible using Mics with Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, Voice, and possibly upright Piano. Most of the time I will just do a track at a time, but I also have a partner who I'll bring in to use the second channel. It will be into my Macbook using garageband or maybe something better down the line. Is there a significant upgrade in the Duet 2 to make the extra $$ worth it?
