He has a groundbreaking technique of that there's no question. And he plays the melody notes with a of of expression, but it sounds like Muzac not organic music. I want to hear his music not covers.

I've heard Tommy Emmanuel speak low about slap guitar. I wonder what Chet Atkins would have said? Still, I think this guy sets a very high standard in guitar playing, perhaps even a new standard. Given the phrasing of his melody notes, he's probably the best slap guitarist I've heard.

Well done, especially for a one-man-band kinda thing (well, one man and whole lotta equipment and gizmos). I haven’t seen his other videos, but I get the impression he’s able to play “normal” guitar very well.
