When it came out I believed Braun because he seemed so sincere and adamant that he was clean. When he admitted he was guilty I decided I wouldn't give any player the benefit of the doubt anymore. And he kept his MVP.

Yeah I was the same way, didn't he get a guy fired for it? If I remember correctly he went after a tech or something in the lab and tried to say it was a false positive due to improper handling and it turns out he was dirty the whole time. Those allegations could have ruined that guy's life.

Braun deserves nothing more than to be remembered with the rest of the PED users and cheaters...

My buds in St Louis say it's in the bag Terrific end to the NL season...The West is in a pennant race, and so is the WILD CARD(INALS)

Ray had an outstanding outing last night. He's now neck and neck with Cole for the Cy Young.

How about the American League East. Red Sox/Yankees/Blue Jays all tied for the wild card spot (two spots).

Great job Ray is doing, he definitely deserves the Cy Young.

Go Jays.

It may come down to whether the Blue Jays or Yankees make the wild card. If they both make the wild card and both Ray and Cole pitch similarly down the stretch then it's a toss up, although I think it would go to Cole since he's been the better pitcher in previous seasons (as crazy as that sounds I read that's the way some people vote).

My Cards are still rolling! 8-2 over the last 10 games and we've won 6 in a row. We're one game up for the 2nd wildcard spot.

What a great turnaround for the Cards, Kerbie. Think about this - the 2nd wild card spot (hopefully the Cards) will face the second best team in the Majors. That's currently the Dodgers with a 16 game lead on the Cards. It would be fantastic if a single elimination playoff game resulted with a team 16 games up losing. That would be talked about for years.

A huge bonus to this match-up...the former Cardinal great Albert Pujols would be in the Dodgers line-up

The Orioles look pretty rough. Losing a hundred games has got to be moral busting.

However, I hope they lose again tomorrow.

Same here, Jim.

It was great seeing Chris Sale back in the lineup a couple of nights ago. Thankful he only missed the one start. The Sox need to focus more on defense though. Way too many unearned runs over the past few weeks.

The surest hand on the infield ain’t eligible for post-season play. I love Devers’ bat and Xander’s, too. But defense at 3rd and short needs work.
