Default Let's Play Some Beatles--And Place Your Contributions Here

So the idea here is that this is a Beatles contribution thread. Play some Beatles and place 'em here.

I'll get the show started here with my solo acoustic instrumental interpretation of the John Lennon composition "Please Please Me"--#3 US Billboard for The Beatles, early 1964. It went either #1 or #2 UK in 1963, providing The Beatles with their first number one song, depending of course on which chart one considers definitive.

I'm playing a 1976 Martin D-35, by the way:

"Please Please Me"

This is great. Great arrangement. Gets all the important parts and stays true to the melody while somehow making it work on one guitar. I wish I could pull stuff like this off. Well done!

I did Norwegian wood several months back. It’s my blueridge br-70 into an ISK audio little gem condenser, and my voice through an MXL 990.

Ok. Here is a very simple acoustic instrumental version of Hey Jude. Very amateur playing by me. You should find it here.

Nice playing guys!

Good thread. I really should re-learn some of my favorites.

Here's a short recording I made back in 2017 using my $99 Lucero LC-100 classical. Once you got it to stay in tune it was fine,

I'm not a huge Beatles fan and I suck at most of their stuff I try to play, but one day I was messing around with this one, and enjoyed it enough that I wanted to play some lead guitar around it, so I had to record it. Just a basic acoustic rhythm, my typically tortured vocals, and a bit of electric lead woven through...

Ahh... here is one from years ago when I would sit around the living room and record things on my old iPhone. Not one I hear many people playing...
