Thanks much for that kind report. Like Ryan said, it was nice chatting, putting a friendly face to a name. I'm in awe of your output. Don't know how you do that...

That Myrtle is spectacular for sure!

Cheers to you too, Paul, and thanks. No one adopted our "beauties", but they had the work out of their young lives. Much playing, a few feverish strums from an 80's fan, yet nary a scratch we can find. Thanks for the kind word on the Myrtle.

We did have a good location, and we enjoyed--as Bruce shared--easy access to the Blue Room, but also an external stair well where guitars could be tried in relative quiet. Plus room for cases, brochures, tee shirts....It's amazing how much detritus begins to accumulate at these shows.

Thanks Bruce, but..."relatively" nice? Relative to what, one wonders? Relative to, oh I don't know, relative to a sore throat? Or relative to a speeding ticket? Or relative to most other Texans, or...or...hahaha, this is fun!
All nonsense aside, it was very nice getting to spend some time with you and get to know Linda a bit better. Looking forward to next time!

Stan, go ahead and break down. Resistance is futile. See ya there.

Yep. What a day for a daydream. We’re going to go deliver it to John Sebastian at his concert tonight. It had been working on him since Woodstock. Now he’s on tour in Texas, and he asked if we could bring it to him.

I was kinda suspicious of that.

How wonderful for you guys! I know he said that was the best guitar he had played at Woodstock and tried it more than once. Believe me from personal experience, those haunt you! Nice feather in the cap for Kinnaird guitars! Do you get free tickets or get to drop in back stage and hand it to him to go out and play hahaha, maybe get a shout out at the concert? Woot Woot.

Although he is a little bigger in the music industry than I, don't forget us little folks out there

Don’t shortchange yourself. If you record yourself playing and your daughter singing the “Seaworld Blues,” we’ll promote it. Play it on that new Maple geetar and it will be a hit.

May 19: Having John Sebastian stop his show halfway in to go get his new guitar backstage so he can show it off to the crowd is pretty nice.

Default Good news and bad news:

I guess this is good news and bad news: for those of us who got our orders in and have taken delivery on our Guitar-of-a-Lifetime (or two, Tom!), their value has just skyrocketed. For those of us who think we are still going to order our Ultimate Guitar from them, the price has just gone up!

Can you guys take one last order from us 'good old guys' before you adopt the Olson Pricing Structure?!

I guess what I am saying is we always wanted the world to know just how great a Kinnaird Guitar is AND we selfishly wanted to keep it a secret.

Hey, didn't I put some sort of down-payment down? Some 'Kinnaird Guitar Futures' or something?! It is beginning to come back to me!!
