Default Cutting Edge Traditional: All-Koa MultiScale

Conceptually similar to the one I just made for Brad (leftyprs), but right handed and all Koa. This one will go to Alberta, Canada. This particular Koa is the first to be used of the 7 flitched sets I acquired last year (you are following my story, right?). This set is very dark, utterly straight grained, light weight and stiff, and has the all pervasive but relatively subtle flame that I associate with structural superiority. My last all-Koa is a tough act to follow, but here's my shot:

Brad won't be getting his for another three weeks or so! He is going to love it. We spent quite a lot of time together working out the details, and my experience is that he will own it to the degree he was involved, which was plenty.

Thanks, Chuck. I will be interesting to see how Al does with the P-wood!

Here's the first tier of top bracing on the Koa JB-15. The back braces are glued and setting up in the go bar deck at the moment. If I had more room I'd have more go bar decks.

Second tier top bracing:

For those paying attention for a year or more, my concept has visibly morphed considerably!
