Default Lowden F50 Cocobolo/Redwood - Video & Images

Hi guys I have recently bought a brand new Lowden F50 with a stunning Cocobolo back and sides and a Redwood top.

The story is below but here she is, i am a pro advertising photographer for a living so i took it to work to shoot some images of her and to make a fun little unboxing style video. The music is the first thing i wrote and recorded with her:

Pictures: http://mspstudio.co.uk/lowden

Video:

I have been searching the globe for my dream guitar. I then drove 5 hours from my home to a shop called Coda Music UK and found a Cocobolo/Redwood F50 Lowden hanging on a wall and the moment i played it i knew. And 3 hours later when the very kind shop owners tea was probably inside the dog, I drove home to think about it.....i know, i know....it was the worst journey of life, 5 hours is just enough time rustle up high levels of regret and longing.

I decided when i got home that this long distance relationship wasn't going to work and so with a crazy sense of abandon and no sense of cash levels I put a deposit on it first thing in the morning. My mind then set to work on finding the cash.

You only need one kidney, right!

Now she is mine.

First of all, congrats on a fine guitar. Think we all understand that when you have to have it, then you just have to have it.

Second, could you please explain what the above quote means? Not something we often say on the other side of the pond.

Congrats on your Lowden. Like that sap line on the back, not often seen on Lowdens based on my experience.

Nice !

John

Love your very creative video. And when I saw it the other day, it helped me make my own decision and yesterday I also bought a Lowden F-35 with Koa and Sinker Redwood. Thanks for your video.

Fabulous guitar. I owned one for a while. It will do whatever you ask it too. Very flexible guitar. Good luck with it.

Default Thanks Guys

Thank you all for your words. Its a great experience buying such a beautiful guitar and this was one of my favourites ever. Starting to record with it now, its just awesome to hear mic'ed up.

Hotrod thats nice to hear that my video helped you decided. I think there needs to be more beautiful photography of instruments, its those close up details in high definition that really make an instruments quality and beauty stand out.

Thank you
Matthew

Here in Australia we have also used the term 'tea' to describe the evening meal,
"dinner' is more common and 'supper' would be a small meal after dinner at a social event.

Stunning guitar - love it.

Wonderful. Contact the company and see if they will the video off of you and pay for the guitar.
