Just wanted to acknowledge the last two posters: glad you enjoyed it. Thought I'd bump this to see who else might not have seen it.
Enjoy! scott |

Great song, huh? I'll post some more of his tunes later in this thread. Very good lyricist.
Here's John and Casey trading verses on "Illegal Smile." Classic. |

I like Kacey's songs because they are often both funny and sad. Thanks, Frog, Scott Memmer |

Good stuff
There you go again, Scott. Promoting some fine singer/songwriters on this forum. Your taste is impeccable. She's terrific, and though she didn't get to burn one with John Prine, she shared the stage with him and I imagine that is a top of the heap high.

I've been a JP fan since the first album (hard to be it's been over forty years). So, yes, Jackal, I'm a shameless shill for Johnny. The delight for me, though, is I didn't know of Kacey till about six months ago. What a joy to discover a new talent very much in the vein of John's still and lyrics but with her own unique perspective. Only bummer for me is she rarely gets out to the West Coast, but I believe I joined her email list. But you pegged me, Jackal. I'll try to behave better in the future. memmer |

Thanks for posting this Scott. I've been a Prine fan for many a moon. I believe Kacey is going to be around for a long time too.
