Default Star of County Down

Sorry, I missed St Patrick's Day yesterday. I realise I haven't actually arranged that many Irish tunes over the years, but I have had a long obsession with the tune "The Star of County Down" having first become aware of El McMeen's solo guitar version many years ago.

Well, this is something different- I really got into acoustic bass a few years back and made this arrangement for a particularly lovely custom bass made by Brook. Unfortunately I had to sell the bass when I needed a deposit on a house . But this video reminded me how much fun it was. Maybe for the listener not so!

Thank you both, you are too kind. I thought better of posting this but couldn't find a way of deleting it!

Really different and quite challenging piece on an acoustic bass! Well done!

This is awesome!
I sure hope you have replaced the acoustic bass you sold because it would be a shame to waste all that mojo!
