Default Shayders

I got inspired after a few days of vacation in Germany and wrote this piece. Hope you like it!

very nice---I like it a lot?

Are those SM81's? They sound great.

I'm still struggling to find the best recording technique despite decent mics and pre-amps. After hearing this I'm going to give that mic positioning another try.

Glad you liked it.

The microphones aren't SM81's I'm afraid though. They're a pair of fairly cheap Samson C02's. As for the positioning, I don't know what I'm doing, at all. When I got these microphones for Christmas and started reading about recording and positioning techniques I got bored pretty quickly and skipped it. Instead I decided to just experiment until I got a sound I was satisfied with. Not sure if this a good approach but I suppose it works OK for these rough tune drafts I post.
