Default New Fishman Matrix Infinity Blend system

It's coming soon. All new look, new components, new mic, new soundhole controls. I am on the wait list. No affiliations.

I thought they released it in January? I had cancelled a preorder for one.

Yeah, this was announced even before NAMM. Looks neat but I never had great luck with UST/internal mic combos. I at one time used the Matrix blend system but I got to the point where I would just turn the mic off.

This is a soundhole pickup. Not a UST. Then add in the Mic.

I am confused. The title of the thread is about the infinity matrix blend system. Isn't this a ust and internal mic?

I tried it at NAMM. It was decent but it’s still a piezo with an internal mic. I’d much rather use a SBT and ToneDexter.

The Infinity Matrix Blend System is definitely an UST and internal mic.

Yeah, no. This is the Matrix UST with new controls and a mic you can blend in. Appears to be smaller than the old model.

I believe you’re confusing it with the Rare Earth blend.

I am officially confused. Sweetwater is taking pre-orders for a Fishman product that has a soundhole pickup with a mic attached housed in a small plastic housing that mounts inside the guitar. It has a soundhole mounted volume and tone control plus a low cut switch and a dial to blend in the Mic.
Anyone know anything about this product????

Well that's a first, the OP confusing himself haha... I kid! Here's the product you are most likely thinking about:

https://www.fishman.com/products/ser...ity-mic-blend/

It's literally an update on the older Matrix blend system that used to have a goosneck mic. This one combines the UST Matrix with a mic that sits at the back of the soundhole, point towards the neck. There are two control modules. One is for tone and volume and the other is for blend.

I wonder if this is a variation on the Fishman Aura VT enhance?

Why do you say this is a under saddle when its a soundhole pickup, not under the saddle at all?? Innocently wondering here.
