Smile Beneteau 0012C Braz/Bearclaw Adi. TRADE PENDING!

Beneteau 0012C. Beautiful Braz/Bearclaw Adirondack. Dang near new condition... Read ALL about it on the Reverb listing

http://rvrb.io/2005-0012c-slot-he-do9

TRADE PENDING TO AN EXCELLENT AGF HOME!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/231733810558...84.m1557.l2649

I lowered all my other listings today, 10/27/15, so dropping this $125 as well!

Asking $5,250, now $5000, shipped insured and PayPal on me

Marc's boss new website shows the new replacement cost as at least $9,000!

I really like this guitar, but as we all know, you can not keep them all. SIGH!

Incredible deep and balanced tone with that extra omph and sparkle only Braz can impart! The 12 fret neck configuration helps a lot with the tone and volume. And the cutaway is nice for getting up the neck! The K and K really sounds fantastic and HUGE plugged in.

I am playing almost all my gigs now unamplified, and need the extra volume from a larger instrument... Will miss the comfort of this, though!

In the same excellent condition as in CC's listing!

Attempting to insert Carmel Cedar's former AGF listing below.

Thanks for looking!

Beautiful instrument. Are you open to possible trades w or w/out cash? Also, can you gives specs for nut and string width? Is this a 14" lower bout? Thanks!

Smile Thank you BKenna!

Thank you Brian for getting the link up. It is embarrassing how digitally Dorkish I am...

As for the measurements, please see Carmel Cedars prior post.

14 1/4 inches across the lower bout.

Calipers show just a hair over 2.25" string spacing at the saddle.

I would prefer a straight sale, however I would consider partial trades that would involve considerable cash to me. An incoming build is the reason for the sale.
We would like to keep all the luthiers happy… And that would involve paying them! Bless their beautiful hearts...

Cheers

Paul

Smile Neck shape

Beneteau neck shape/feel:
1.75" nut. 25" scale.
A bit on the wide side of 2.25" at saddle by my calipers. Measured perpendicular to strings just in front of the bridge.

The neck is as slim back to front as a slim carve Taylor, or one of the mid 90s I own. But has just a little more meat in the "shoulders".

Pressing the strings to the first fret, I measure 22mm, or just on the slim side of 7/8", back of neck to top of the strings above crown of the fret.

Not much taper. 23.5mm /just under 15/16" at the 8th fret measured the same way.

By the 9th fret the flare to the heel has just begun.

Tim Luranc commented on the groovy Brazilian Rosewood bridge too! He and my wife (luckey Me!) are urging me to keep this one but I can't keep them all.

She is a beauty. Spectacular tone. Sounds fine tuned down to D, which is surprising given the short scale. And quite light weight especially for rosewood.

I hope this helps! I am very picky about neck shape as I usually play one hour solo sets without backing tracks. Left hand and arm issues can be a drag. This one works fine for me.

Thanks for all the detailed info, especially about the neck shape. Any chance you might have soundclips available? Also, any chance you know the weight? Thanks!

As a former owner of this little gem, I can tell you it is light, responsive, and a real pleasure to hold. Wondering why the heck I ever sold it. Though Paul has done a good job, my memory is there bear claw is even more pronounced than in the photos. Beautiful guitar from any angle. The pickup was added after I owned it--but bet it would be killer plugged in.

Smile Friday again...

Thanks Transylania! She does sound HUGE plugged in.

The pics are from Carmel Cedar's former listing. I do have more if wanted! Shoot an email for my pics...

Hey Queequig, my cheesy luggage scale says 2.75 lbs, but the bathroom scale says more like 3.5. I guess I need a good postal scale! I am pretty sure it is under four pounds. Super comfy and VERY responsive!

This little gem needs a new home! And that is ALL it needs...

Everybody have a fine weekend…

Cheers

Paul

Former owner here - loved this guitar. Fabulous tone, and small, comfortable size. If you're looking for surprisingly loud, rich sound...the Brazilian rosewood in this one will not disappoint! Paul's great to work with as well. Can't go wrong here...
